About Lisa at Love Child
The Buy – Sell – Trade idea came natural for Lisa Ledeaux. When she was 14 years old, Lisa wanted to be a buyer for a store. And at 18 Buffalo Exchange was a regular hang out. She earned extra cash shopping garage sales for cool stuff to sell and trade at Buffalo Exchange.
Lisa ended up working in Litigation Graphics and Courtroom presentations for many years before jumping into the Resale world. After many years of working with tight deadlines, she decided to take a break from being employed to care for her new baby, a special needs child with Autism and Cerebral palsy.
Three years later, she took part time job at Buffalo Kids Exchange, with the thought that she could get out and connect with other moms. Working at Buffalo Kids was the perfect job. So perfect in fact that she worked there for 10 years managing the store.
When the former owner of Buffalo Kids Exchange decided to sell the store, Lisa jumped at the opportunity.
Why the name Love Child?
At the time that Lisa bought the existing store, Buffalo was no longer selling Buffalo Kids Exchange franchises. So she went with a name that resonated for her, Love Child Style Exchange. A child of the sixties, Lisa is one groovy lady. And she wanted her store to have that hippie-like, groovy feel. You can even hear the sounds of the great Elvis Presley and other groovy 60′s tunes played throughout the store.
Come visit Love Child Style Exchange and the rest of Lisa’s groovy staff. Everyone is fun and friendly and always happy to answer any questions you may have.
