The natural bridge is located on Pine Creek a few miles south of the Town of Pine.  The arch is made of travertine rock and has a peak of 183 feet above the stream.  The bridge was built by centuries of lime being deposited by springs over the sides of the canyon.  Beneath the arch there are a series of galleries and chambers that lead far into the mountains.
